Enrolment at Salisbury

The Intensive Wraparound Service (IWS) provide intensive support for children and young people with highly complex learning needs.

The IWS includes the option of a placement at a residential special school. Residential special schools support students through specialist services in a 24/7 residential setting.

Once an application is accepted by the IWS's Regional Prioritisation Panel a Residentatial (boarding) placement can be considered.  This decision is made by parents and IWS psychologists who has been assigned to work with the family. The enrolment period is set by the IWS and reviewed at regular intervals in partnership with parents.
