Salisbury Pānui

Along with many others in Āotearoa, Salisbury School has recently taken great pleasure in acknowledging Matariki as a significant time for all New Zealanders.  Alongside celebrating and learning about Māori traditions, culture and mātauranga, our Salisbury whānau came together to reflect on the past and look ahead to what the new year may hold.

This has indeed been a time of new growth, with many new initiatives taking root in Salisbury soil.  The Māori new year brings new programmes and curriculum, new students and staff and new physical spaces to Salisbury - read on below for more about these.

Beneath the bustle of new activity, our school values of manaaki (kindness), kaha (courage), mahi tahi (teamwork) and mana whenua (belonging) underpin our mahi and drive us toward an exciting and enriching Term 3.

We look forward to sharing the journey forward with you! Read on for more here.
